- Portugal President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who is on an official visit to India, will arrive in Goa on Saturday.
- During his two-day visit to the state, a memorandum of understanding on water and sewage management will be signed between the Portuguese government and the state public works department.
- Portugal will provide technical assistance to the PWD for operational efficiency of the Goa water system and the sewage management, Pauskar said, adding that Portugal will provide consultancy for augmenting the water and sewage management system of the state.
- In the Saturday evening, Sousa will inaugurate a seminar on urban designs organised by the state-run Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited.
